I refound the place that sells the best pies in the Blue Mountains (that I've found so far anyway). Great pasty, proper pieces of meat bound with tomatoey gravy rather than the more usual gristle in gravox* that Aussies love to call a pie. I've had the steak and the steak and kidney and both were great. I can't speak for the other ones.

An Apology
Hi
Firstly, an apology. This isn't meant to be a blog for a general readership or anything like that. I come up with recipes or find a nice place to buy bacon or whatever and then find I've forgotten them.
The Wife suggested I stick them somewhere. As her initial suggestion sounded uncomfortable, I'm putting them on the web.
So really this is just meant to be a bunch of clippings and aide memoirs really, nothing more. If you want a chat or you know where to buy the best bacon then do let me know however. It's nice to share.
